I remember seeing Pennant at the same age. Similar talent but it all went tits up for him.

Anyways Sterling is a 15 year old boy playing against some 18 year old lads and looks pretty useful. 12 months in a young lads physical and mental development is huge so to step up and play lads 2 or 3 years older and look the part is a very promising sign.

Yeah I agree with that..

In fairness me and my hungover mates put 9 goals past that Everton CB in a five a side footie match, and I hadn't kicked a football in 3 years.

Sorry.

He does look like a talent though so we may strike gold. Playing for u15s/u16s and jumping up to u18s is massive. For example our u16s played a few weeks ago and beat manc utd 6-0. Most of these lads then played for the 18s on the weekend before the youth cup and got battered by Stoke. So thats maybe a little indication of the step up to be considered.

Ha! That's exactly what I thought of when watching that. Those early vids of Pennant at Notts County (that right?) were almost identical.
