I think we can use either LW or RW. Coutinho can play at either wing, but Rodgers wants him to play in the middle. So assuming our 3-4-1-2 eventually gives way to something along the lines of 4-2-3-1, we will need top class wingers for both flanks. Or better yet, sign complete, versatile attackers of the ilk of Reus, Isco, Müller, Oscar, Coutinho or wingers who are good enough to play as #10 like Bale. Then everybody can interchange at will and we will cut teams to shreds.

I just watched a few clips of Konoplyanka's interviews. He is a very bright lad, very humorous and positive. Definitely a new breed of a Ukrainian footballer. The players I grew up watching could barely string two words together and were afraid to show any kind of personality on camera. Personality-wise, Konoplyanka looks like the type who could succeed in England where other Ukrainians failed to adjust.

Ridiculous. The Swiss were wasting time from a throw-in (not for the first time), Mbokani pointed it out to the ref and got a yellow for his troubles. He said something else and got a second yellow. 18 minutes have gone, Dynamo is down to 10 men.

Yarmolenko crossed with pace from the right, Swiss defender got a touch - 1:0 in favor of Dynamo at HT.

Overall, a terrible game not helped by overly fussy refereeing. I don't expect any wonder goals.

They play very well together for the national team. In fact in the last game, Yarmolenko scored from the pass by Konoplyanka. They have different styles, but equally effective.
