I think we will beat the Mancs and drop points to Cardiff

You on a wind up?
No - I'd be delighted if we could beat United, but with our average away performance this season, that's unlikely. So 4 points from 2 away games would be a good return for us. And I'd be happier if the win was at Old Trafford. Of, course, like everybody, I hope to win the last 10 games. But those of us who talk about it as though it should be expected really aren't paying attention to the inconsistent standard of football we are playing.

Dunno, I'd say 5 wins and a draw in our last 6 is pretty damn consistent. Maybe it's you who needs to view more of the mancs and cardiff? 4 points would be a disappointment.

4 points would be a disapointment? Beating the Mancs isnt the sure thing some seem to think.
6 points would be very good but the Utd game will be tough. Cardiff is a must win game.

At this stage *any* dropped points is a disappointment. We're trying to win the fucking league here.

United still have a lot of talent and some under-performing players. I think they can be expected to step up next week. I think we can win there, but check the delight on these boards if we do and tell me it was a game we expected to win, no big deal...

Our form is great, we are scoring for fun, the players have that eye of the tiger at the moment, they are bang up for this, now look at the mancs and tell us with a straight face why we shouldn't expect to win?

You say that our form is great. I say that our form is sporadic and our results are great. I think there's a difference. Unbeaten in 7 in 2014, but of those 7 - the first 25 minutes v Villa was the worst I have EVER seen a Liverpool team play (2 nil down really flattered us), and we were not good enough to get a winner in the last half hour - they looked as likely as we did. Against West Brom we looked toothless and short of ideas. We played Swansea a couple of days after they had a tough European fixture, were fortunate to survive a sloppy start, and then gave away a 2-goal lead. Southampton we were outplayed for the majority of the first half. Fulham, for goodness sake, were beating us with 20 minutes left.
I think I'm one of the most positive posters on here. I like to find the good signs - when they are there. If we can play like we did against Arsenal or Everton (first-half) or Southampton second half then we're going to have a happy end-of-season. But I'd like to see the "good" Liverpool more consistently.

Bad day?

Seriously though we can't dominate every minute of every game, if you take out the many daft fuck ups theres nothing much to really worry about right now, we looked better at the back last week and even playing just allright we can still score 3 or 4 goals, really can't see us being anything but bang up for this game.

Agreed mate. But I still feel its a different story away to Utd.
A win would be amazing though. Then I'll really start to believe!

And what's all this shite about it's their cup final and they'll be up for it?

Since when has a Liverpool team not been up for at OT.

Every game is a cup final for us now. We will be up for just as much and half way better attacking cohesive players and better defenders and better midfielders.

Only bad luck of shit refereeing will stop us
