When were you wrong?

I said Silva was a Spanish lightweight fancy Dan who'd do nothing in England. I thought Kewell was the missing piece of the jigsaw. Loads of youth have been championed beyond what they deserved too....

Thought the same about Kewell. Maybe most of us did as he was such a quality player. Those first 6 months were at least brilliant.

On the subject of Rodgers, I don't think it is necessarily that the fans were wrong - I think the club got their recruitment wrong there. Rodgers looked like he had something about him, but ultimately I think he was given the big job a few years too early. We picked him up while he was still deciding what his football should look like and I think being in the spotlight has painted him into a corner somewhat now. Shame.

I thought Harry Kewell was going to be a huge signing for us. Not a lot he could do about his papier mâché base, but his level of cowardice surprised me - as did Rafa's trust by that point to start him in a CL final!

Yeah I'll go with Harry Kewell and Mark Gonzalez, thought they would be amazing but it didn't happen.
Sakho would be great for us is another

Koeman managing Everton, I was slightly worried, but thankfully they're still dog shit.
Man, a bit early for that talk yet – sadly. Koeman is a very good manager. The biggest threat there since way back when.

The biggest threat to Koeman at Everton is the shite that Martinez left behind, he must surely have shown himself to be nowhere near a top level manager now - thank God Henry's shmoozing, coffee's and chinos didn't work!

He didn't turn us down. No fucking way he turned us down.

I was wrong about Lucas, I was led to believe he was a box-box midfielder but to my horror and failed hope I had to accept he was never going to be that.

Ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one that missed the 10 years stipulation! At least I was only a year out with Harry Kewell.
