I tell you what, one of things that makes me believe that it could be our year is the timely return of Gomez in our defense, just when we are going to face the two fastest players in the PL who can score goals in Vardy, and Adama Traore, he is back in defense to deal with any of that shit. At first I was worried that Naby was not getting into the game, and it was really Henderson who was holding the shit together after our early chances, and there was like maybe 12 to 17 minutes of the game where it appeared so, but Naby and Gini got well into the game and we just overwhelmed them. We really did tire the fuck out of them out to the point when they did get the ball - none of their players were ever in the right position to hurt us in any way. It was a pure masterclass in control that game, without exerting yourself.

That was easily our best performance of the season. I do think the whole Qatar thing has been a big positive - for everyone, but perhaps especially for Bobby. The players all went out and played like they were the World Champs swatting aside some provincial nobodies. It was magnificent. Bobby finished well, but he also brought back that interplay we rely on when we're really ticking. Hendo Trent and Bobby were magnificent, but it would be churlish to choose any player who looked out of place in this extraordinary side. Gomez was fucking boss again it must be said. It was just beautiful.

We dominated from start to finish, and made the team in 2nd place look like they were U-23 players. They just couldnt handle us.
Extremely impressed that our fitness levels were through the roof with energy after the week we’ve had.

And how about Gomez pace when he was in a one on one with Vardy. Such a boss, very impressive.
