Was that a sly dig against Liverpool?
"Congratulations to (refs' chief) Mike Riley because what they did during the season was fantastic for the way the championship is"

Is he saying that we're top of the league because of the refs?

MIND GAMES!!

Great to see Rui Faria finally called out. He's notorious among opposing managers and coaches as nasty wind-up merchant.

Now Liverpool, we have taken SEVEN points off City and Chelsea this season, the rest is yours, best of luck x

And this fan from KL got everything right, except the time 😛

Yes

Fair enough, but I think most people would think that's a rather autistic way of looking at it.

There's a good chance City will draw at least one other game. That, combined with this result, means we are now strong favourites to win the title.
Autistic! That's a bit harsh, I'd say.

It eases the pressure on the fans a bit, of course because you can hope that City will drop points (though it's fairly conceivable that they win their remaining 5). Doesn't really ease the pressure on the players in any way - which isn't likely to be the case until City actually drop points. It doesn't ease the pressure for Norwich as City play only on Monday, and it probably won't ease the pressure against Chelsea as City will probably win on Monday, and their game on Sunday is after ours. So in all probability, the earliest opportunity for the result relieving any actual pressure on the players is going to be when they play Palace.

[article=http://www.london24.com/sport/chelsea/transcript_jose_mourinho_s_bizarre_press_conference_after_sunderland_defeat_1_3565847]Below is the transcript of what he said after the defeat to the Black Cats.

“I just have to say that I will not wait for your questions. I am so sorry about it but in quick four points I can say everything I want to say so we are not going to waste time so every question you can ask me I will answer in exactly the same way so we stick with four quick points.

“The first point is to congratulate my players. They did everything they could. They fought, they played from the first to the last second and I think they deserve that. Sometimes we praise the players when we won, I think it’s fair to praise my players after a defeat.

“Secondly, congratulations to Sunderland. It doesn’t matter how, or why or in which way they won but they won. They won the three points and three fantastic points for them so I think it’s far to congratulate them.

“Third point, I want to congratulate again but this time it’s Mike Dean. I think his performance was unbelievable and when referees have unbelievable performances I think it’s fair that we give them this so fantastic performance. He came here with one objective which was to make a fantastic performance and he did that.

“And fourth, I think it’s also fair to congratulate Mike Riley because he’s the referee’s boss and what they are doing all season is fantastic, especially in the last couple of months, especially in matches involving the teams that were in the title race were absolutely fantastic. I also congratulate Mr. Mike Riley. Thank you.”

Mourinho then got up and left the room, leaving journalists stunned and unable to ask questions about Ramires’ elbow on Sebastian Larsson or Rui Faria attempting to attack Dean.[/article]

Just did some browsing on a Chelsea board.

They want a completely new back four, as well as two new strikers in the summer to start.

These people are ridiculous.

I'm not sure why Rui Faria and Mourinho were going after Dean actually - the linesman was really sharp and snappy in flagging for an infringement when Altidore went down. Trying to make a scene to distract from their impotence I suppose.

This is what he said in the post match press conference:

"Congratulations to Mike Riley, because he is the referees' boss, and what they're doing all season is fantastic, especially in the last few months, especially for the teams involved in the title race, and I also congratulate Mike Riley."

He's definitely saying that the refs are gifting us the title.

You're a bit late to the party, but as I'm still up, the free likes are still getting dished left and right.

I hope the journos don't let him off that easy. I'd ask about the incidents in that game into next season if I had to, until the petulant prick decided to answer.

I have to say, I was never quite comfortable with our fans calling Chelsea, Mourinho and their fans cunts and plastics and all that. They can't be all that bad, I thought. Well, after watching this game I can say you were all right. From fans to the owner to players and he coaching stuff, they are all absolute whining, grandiose, miserable cunts. For the whole game their fans and players were more interested in putting psychological pressure in the referee than in playing football. I lost count how many times Eto'o fell to the ground easily, how many times the crowd shouted for a supposed handball etc. The coach's behavior after the penalty was shameful and disgusting, as was Mourinho's "press-conference."

Seeing the "Roman's Empire" banners and Gazprom ads everywhere at the stadium it made me think maybe this utter lack of class comes not from Mourinho or Terry, but from the owner himself. This feeling of pervasive paranoia, trying to "play the ref" instead of playing the opponent, strong feeling of victimhood somehow combined with delusions of grandeur - that really reminds me of the current mood in Russia itself. No wonder Chelsea is the most popular foreign team among the Russians.

BTW Ramirez will likely get a 3-match ban for what he did, right? That was clearly deliberate. What a cunt. Yes, I can say that now.

Doesn't really ease the pressure on the players in any way - .

It doesn't ? Can you imagine how they feel tonight ? This will put a huge spring in their step tomorrow just knowing that Chelsea have now probably blown-it and that only City stand between them and the title.

fking hell more Jose

He's such a massive fucking nob, stop giving him attention sky. Easily one of the worst losers in football.
