Utd had the easiest fixture list possible and won 3 out of 8. God knows why talksport were praising them tonight. World stars and can't beat west brom. Nuts really. [emoji15]
So that's the easiest start in PL history over, and they're a point behind us. They'll find it hard to finish top 4 from this position, the fixtures get much tougher now. Hopefully we sort ourselves out and put some distance between us.
Yep. I'm a fan too. Already much better than Balotelli will ever be, and he's only going to get better (and more expensive...).
We should do whatever it takes and sign him in January.
With him and Sturridge we'll have a great front line (and I wouldn't mind Balotelli coming off the bench as plan B...)
Yeah I've thought we should look to Berahino for a while now too. Would tick a lot of boxes for us.
Di Maria is fantastic, but they're very dependent on him now. I think they've spent poorly otherwise though, so it's going to be interesting to see if we can prevail over them with all our problems. We need to build a big lead over the next two months.
Our lucky 3 points at QPR now looking even better on a weekend of games yielding a combined 2 points for Spurs, Arsenal and Man Utd.
Rodgers after our jammy win: "The speed of our game was way too slow. There's not enough rhythm and personality to go and dominate the game. But whilst you're searching for that, it's important that you continue to win and that's what we've been doing."
