Apart from a run of 5 games or so 2 years ago where he played well, what are people seeing in Origi? I really really can’t stand him.

We have two forwards to choose from in Firmino's absence, Origi & Sturridge.

After Sunday's match, what I'm seeing in Origi is that he isn't Sturridge!

He looks like he can be a nuisance, & seems to have worked on his strength a fair bit this season. He's still a poor replacement for any of our front three, but I'd prefer him to Shaq or Keita simply cos they arent forwards & they both share a lot of the same traits, namely breaking from the midfield, which is not what we need from our forwards.

Put simply, he's the best option from a pretty shit set of options.

Mo’s played plenty from the centre, so for me it’s just about filling in Shaq on the right.
Origi May have bulked up but he gets nudged off the ball, doesn’t fight for headers, hardly makes any decoy runs, can’t keep up with the passing/tempo of the other attackers, and is generally shit. I can’t stand him. It’s his attitude on the pitch that really does my head in. Fight for your life! It’s his last chance here and yet he doesn’t seem tot get it or care. If he plays, watch his pressing. It’s pathetic. Very Sturridge-esque, and he has a quarter of Sturridge’s talent.

Manchester City are without Fernandinho, if memory serves me well, Citys blip in Dec was when he was injured?

Yep. I'm not so sure that will have the same impact this time as I bet Pep had been working on dealing with that since last time.

If they come through this spell unscathed it wouldn't surprise me at all, I think they'll drop points a bit later in the season myself.

Milner's been looking tired IMO, would have rested him personally.
Cue him scoring tonight...

Origi would cause more havoc than sturridge

As sturridge is a lazy...LAZY cunt

Agree.

Shaq was made for tonight

Suppose the physicality of Watford could be an issue

I'm gutted Kieta isn't playing, but performance in training leads to starts has always been Klopp's thing & he missed training due to his baby being sick, so I guess it makes sense. Real shame though, he needs a goal to get him off the mark.

Yeah, Milner in for Hendo seems odd.
Strange decision by the boss. Wonder if the incident when Hendo was subbed played a part in the decision.

In other news, Pellegrini playing a 19y/o midfielder at LB tonight and Andy Carroll up front.

Fuck, really wanted to see Shaq and Keita in the team. Ah well, hopefully enought to get 3 points. Pellegrini doing his best to help City yet again.
