Suarez didn't look very arsed out there, but he set up another goal so what can you say.
Overall a good result, our keeper not really tested, and to be honest nor theirs. The first team that went out didn't really look threatening, the 2nd one looked like it might do something.

the first 60 minutes squad looked better in my opinion. The midfield needed more invention dont' get me wrong, but sterling and ibe were constant thorns. Borini needs to work on his overall game, but i think it will come with time. The first team was arguably too "safe". Allen and henderson didn't compliment each other well. Perhaps shifting one and making way for coutinho/alberto is the answer.
Judging from this friendly, i'd quite like this team to line up vs stoke

Obviously if stugs isn't fit then aspas should lead the line, with downing going on the right. I think downing offers us balance and stability which is necessary with the amount of mavericks up front for us.

Still did his usual thing in the penalty area to create that goal though. Which keeps his value up.

Yeah id definitely have coutinho in the attacking midfield position right now. I know its preseason but allen just doesn't offer much at all.
yeah we're still fucking shite without moments of genius from our 3 good players and our new signings look like a continuation of that.
