As for Carragher on Owen it wasn't all that clear cut IMO as they were both tussling, Vidic however was lucky not to get a straight red for his tackle on Kuyt late on and VDS made sure to make contact with masher for a ball which could easily have provided a goal, masher had pulled out from trying to block the ball in a position he was perfectly allowed to do so.... VDS was the one thirty yards out his box.

Foul on masher by VDS in my opinion 😉

In a normal United day they would have been given a penalty for the superb Carra tackle. OR that only real finishing would have gone under the bar. They would have won 1-0 without impressing anyone, but got all commentators bowing into the dust while appaluding a fantastic Man United.... That's almost true. The little b@stard was pushing his way past Carra before Carra ever started on him, and I'm not at all convinced the actual contact which brought him down was more than an accidental tangle.
