Did Hendo actually go off in a huff, as some sources claim? With Klopp calling him back to put him right? If so, for all the good he does as captain, he should have a bit of a think - VVD is just waiting to be Klopp's official right hand man.

It certainly looked that way.

Haha! I knew I forgot something as I posted it.
But he keeps fucking harping on about it not being worth it, and two years now the team has been run into the ground.

A draw against a hugely improved scum away is a point earned. Myself, I'd have liked Naby to be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd substitute.

But, as Oncy mentioned, WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE !

Yeah, I dont think a point is bad at all. It was a must not lose game. The performance was shite, but the rhythm of the game got completely fucked with 4 subs before half time. I thought we looked quite decent going forward until Bobby went off.
The Utd fans must have been relieved when they saw Studge coming on, it was like playing with 9 outfield players out there.
Shame he didnt bring Keita on, I think that would have been the best solution, or Shaq.

Ah well, top of the league and City played 120 mins today and got Laporte injured. There will be many twists and turns in this title race, and we're very much in it.

I think the big take away really is that Sturridge isn't able to play for us anymore. A kid or even a Lallana type person would have been a better sub. I enjoyed watching him plan when he was younger, fitter and a bit more motivated looking, but I never want to see him play for us again.

I feel mean saying that but it's just the truth and I can't hide my feelings from you lads anymore.

Quite decent? When? We were fucking shit and created next to nothing? United could have won, we got let off the hook.

It's been blatantly obvious for a while now that Sturridge should never play for us again. He is a complete waste of space.

It reminds me of the last minute or so of this scene:

You just think with the Sky one - oh god, no, it's Souey, don't upset him!

haha - I was watching just this and others on Youtube last week. Love Fawlty Towers - very interesting to hear where the idea for the series came from.

Still lead the table with another big match out of the way (and City also still have to go there). The big positive is this :

February
27 – Watford (H)
March
2 – Everton (A)
9 – Burnley (H)
16 – Fulham (A)
30 – Tottenham Hotspur (H)
April
6 – Southampton (A)
13 – Chelsea (H)
20 – Cardiff City (A)
27 – Huddersfield Town (H)
May
4 – Newcastle United (A)
12 – Wolverhampton Wanderers (H)

Laporte as well ? Didn't know that.

This will be far worse for them if he's out for a few weeks:

Manchester City suffered an injury blow in the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea as midfielder Fernandinho limped off holding his groin towards the end of normal time.

We really need Brewster to start playing this season. It's all very well to invest in youth and be patient - that's great - but this is here and now, and we MUST have a serious attacking threat on the bench as well as the pitch.
And when does Ox come back too ?

They could be just the impetus we need to see this through.

Yeah, missing Fernandinho couldl be tough for them. Shame they are playing West Ham at home, they will probably win 10-0

Off topic, but I did a TV show with the O'Reilly man - David Kelly, I think his name was. Very nice man, but incredibly posh Irish accent. Vert actorly. We did this weird show called something like 'Night Hawks' - it went out live in Dublin, set in a bar, you'd have real drinks, real drinkers, lots of cameras, you didn't know when you were on camera and when you were just getting sloshed. Anyway, the two of us were chatting in the make up room, when this little Scouse bloke came in - he looked the spitting image of John Lennon circa Beatles for Sale - same hairstyle, all black outfit, cuban heels, the whole thing. He didn't say anything until seconds before we were due to go out on stage: 'Er, one thing: can no one mention the John Lennon thing? It's just that I'm fed up with it'. Cue explosions from the really burly-looking production staff: 'What the FECK??? We only hired you, we only flew you over to Dublin, because you are a Lennon lookalike! What else do you do?' 'I'm an electrician'. 'Well, matey, that's not newsworthy - now go out there and be fecking LENNON!!!'

Yeah I don't remember us ever looking like scoring

Closest was probably the one Matip header off a corner that was still well over.

And the penalty shout for McTominay manhandling in the box, also from a corner.

But absolutely nothing at all from open play. Every ball, through ball, cut back and cross were absolute garbage. No movement off the ball either.
