Nowhere to put news about the injuries in the league, so I thought I'd start a new one and see how it goes. I don't think we'd be too interested in some shit reserve guy (unless it's one of ours) breaking a thumb or three in West Brom. Just the ones we care to gloat or laugh about, perhaps, or those which are important to us.

"Give me your fractured, your concussed,
Your hamstrung masses yearning to run free,
The luckless sicknotes of your treatment table.
Send these, the hopeless, injury-ravaged, to us:
We fill our thread with the limping unable."

Poor job, sorry. Anyway, here's the first instalment - let's see how this goes.

I suppose Arsenal will be champions of the injury league, as usual. Season's barely started, and they've already picked up where they left off:
-- Wilshere - fractured something or other, out for a time
-- Rosicky - just in; 8 weeks out after knee surgery

Tomas Rosicky has undergone knee surgery and is likely to be out of action for around eight weeks.

The Arsenal midfielder suffered the damage while playing for the Czech Republic against Iceland on 12 June, in a Euro 2016 qualifier that his team lost 2-1. It held him back in pre-season, to the extent that he played no part.

The 34-year-old, who agreed a new one-year contract at Arsenal last season, was forced to have arthroscopic surgery on 4 August, according Pavel Paska, his agent. Paska put his likely absence at between four and eight weeks, and it is expected to be at the top end of that scale.

Arsène Wenger, the Arsenal manager, hopes to have Héctor Bellerín available for Sunday’s visit to Crystal Palace. The full-back was ruled out of last Sunday’s 2-0 home defeat to West Ham with a slight thigh injury, but he has returned to training.

This thread is already off topic. I'll split it out so we don't ruin Studsup thread for posting injury news that nobody cares about discussing.
