Suso to Olympiakos

Well the weather is nice and it's a great place to live if you've lots of money so yes.

For him anyway.

It's a physical league - and I think he'll do well playing for a team where there is extreme pressure to win and compete in Europe.

I just hope it's not the 'end' of his time at Liverpool.

Jesus Fernandez Christ....
Not Greece.
How about he fucking stays in the country.

Don't see how that league will help him much. Can't we find him a premiership or championship level club for him to play at?

There's very little competition in Greece these days though. Olympiakos have won the Greek super league 12 times in the last 13 years or something ridiculous. It might be better if he went somewhere else.

I don't understand why we never loan out our players to Premier League teams.
Lukaku, Cleverley, Rose, Strurridge, Welbeck have all done it.

Danny Guthrie went to Bolton and did well there

The one thing that swings it Olympiakos way I think, is that they have a Spanish manager (ex Getafe, Sevilla).

Maybe there is no interested English clubs?

My greek friend at work thinks Olympiakos has the referee's in their pocket over there, so won't be much of a challenge.

On a sidenote...

Spain have announced their 21-man squad to take to the FIFA U-20 World Cup this summer, naming Gerard Deulofeu and Jese Rodriguez.

The Barcelona and Real Madrid players are the notable inclusions alongside Atletico Madrid’s Oliver Torres in the squad that will travel out to Turkey this summer from June 17 to July 13.

Spain are drawn in Group A of the youth tournament and will play France, Ghana and the United States.

Spain Under-20 World Cup squad: Ager Aketxe y Kepa (Athletic), Saúl Ñíguez, Manquillo y Oliver Torres (Atlético), Gerard Deulofeu (Barcelona), Jony (Celta), Paco Alcácer (Getafe), Rubén García (Levante), Suso (Liverpool), Denis Suárez (Manchester City), Llorente, Derik Osede y Jesé (Real Madrid), Dani Sotres y Jairo (Racing), Israel y Campaña (Sevilla), Gaya y Bernat (Valencia) y Adrián Ortolá (Villarreal)

Not a surprise that he's in the U20 squad but I think he was gunning for the U21 squad

Surely there's scouts watching this lad from this country!!

Probably but none of the teams above us are going to take a player from us on loan and I cant really think of any of the teams below us that play the sort of football he would be suited to, Swansea are probably the only candidates. I dont think it would be a bad thing for him to move to a championship side for 6 months as long as he was getting regular first team football. That said the Greek league is a decent standard and if hes happy to make the move then so be it

He won't make it here IMO, so it's probably a good idea sending him to a league where he can look good and win a few suitors.
