I'd be happy with that. The only reasons Carroll should play os because he has played better and perhaps could be on his way justifying the price tag...which are good reasons but not against man u.

It's stronger than Bolton's and they managed to get through pretty easily without a dedicated dm playing for us.
 
Sod this leave suarez on the bench stuff. I'd put Suarez on Evra and let his football do the talking. That's if Suarez is telling the truth. he can hold his head up high. If he's full of shit, just play him on the other wing, sorted!

We simply can't play gerrard and adam together, it just doesn't work very well...even with a DM. There's too many people who don't know what they're meant to be doing

Obviously you could sub gerrard out for adam if you like. For me the midfield 3 needs someone with mobility in attack, a terrier and someone who can do a bit of both. Adam can't do a bit of both for me as his defensive game is severly lacking (well his positional sense anyway).

Saying that though, i expect him to play and i thoroughly hope i issue another apologetic thread to the doc

Hendo was actually in Modos team all along, he was just making his usual impact on the game.
 
We'll really miss Lucas for this game. Unsure of who to play in the middle to be honest. Jay and Chuck with Gerrard running off Carroll I suppose. I don't know what to do with Suarez to be honest. It would nearly be better to start him, he will be too wound up coming off the bench and he might be over zealous.

United will have Rooney dropping deep with a game plan of hitting Valencia out wide. Johnson or Enrique should have the pace to keep with him though. Rafael could be one to watch. He can be explosive for all the right AND wrong reason.

Hope De Gea plays too obv.

Im really looking forward to this one. I have a bottle of 12 year old chevez regal with my name on it, mrs Dobalina is out already on a hens party day...it would be rude not to start early, I think!
 
For the first time since I was about 12, I wont be watching this fixture live. We've been given tickets as a present to a dinosaur exhibition for Luke inc a craft event & planetarium visit.

He's excited about going & it means I'll be there between 1-3, if I don't take him, he doesn't go, it'll break his little heart.

So I'm going, phone on aeroplane mode, no radio there or back, avoiding conversation with strangers, straight back in, no SCM, radio or net, tv staright on to the recording & sit down for a few drinks. Never done this record & watch as live thing before, & never thought I'd do it for a match against these cunts!

I sometimes end up watching bits where we're under the cosh on x30. Match often finished in about 20 minutes.
 
If we win the Scums and then win the Brightons and *then* win Cardiff, I may pop before Leap Year Day.
 
I always check the result when I do the record thingy, for some reason I cant control myself and be patient enough to sit through it without knowing.
 
Thanks Athens, Phil dowd is not as bad as Howard Webb. I don't think we will get a sniff anyway, the anti Liverpool feelings run deep at the minute. Suarez will get kicked everywhere if he plays. United will get a pen. We will have to score 2 at least I think.
