I know Suarez occasionally showed some crazy skills to unlock defences or score goals himself, but it was the simple stuff he constantly did, such as initiating and demanding the ball back with one-two's around the edge of the box that any professional can do, which worked so often. It depends on your puzzle. I'm all for more pacey players. But time and again last season, especially at home, it was how to find a way though massed defences that was the problem. Is Mane especially good at decision making? I don't know. After Suarez we've looked clueless when facing that line of defenders on the edge of the area. That's my piece of the jigsaw, and it's still absent.
I can't wait to see the list of better players that were available for half as much at the end of the window.
So you can come across like the astute know-it-all in hindsight? How clever.
Why don't you tell us who these players are now that are available for 15M who are better than Mane, and fit your age profile?
I'm a right and your wrong, I'm not going to tell you why I'm right, just demand you tell me something so that I can tell you it's wrong. - Every Rosco post ever.Well its not hindsight when its already obvious now, without knowing who will move.
If you want to list the players now, i'll tell you which ones are better deals.

So is the overall feeling one of slight apathy?
I actually feel excited about the prospect of Mane lining up in a Liverpool shirt. What I think is causing the apathy is the fact he has come from Southampton. At the end of the day, we have been crying out for a tricky, pacey wide attacking player who can actually put the ball in the net. We have found one and Klopp is making sure we get him. If we can block out the Southampton player/ price tag noise then this is a very good signing that improves our team.

Not from me. I'm very happy with this signing. So is the overall feeling one of slight apathy?

Ignoring the price tag and the fact he comes from southampton he is exactly the type of player that we need. My only concern is that he had a lot more space to exploit with his pace at southampton as teams attack them. But with us a lot of teams sit back, so will he be as effective?
LOLIs he actual 23 or Africa 23?

The Echo reported today there the committee identified Mane when he was available for 10M but Rodgers wasn't interested.
34 million? We're fucking twats.
