You cant replace him with just one player. But bastian schweinsteiger would be a start.

You replace him by getting creative players to unlock defences as opposed to waiting for Gerrard to pick a pass or get into the box. We need 2 pacey and creative wide players.

Gerrard from now on will be playing in a more of a sitting role, I think.

Gerrard isn't suited to any sort of a holding role. I might be wrong but I just can't see it.

Yeah, I think he's excellent, has a bit of everything. Big, strong imposing figure with a touch of class about everything he does, time on the ball etc.

In fact, I remember being seriously impressed by him prior to Everton signing him and feeling about miffed about it. He's improved since and is still only 24. Yes please.
