When you invest yourself into backing rafa as much as they did, to the extent they would perform depraved acts for him. Then in that case it is impossible to back track and change your mind afterwards because you're already in way too deep. So you end up delluding yourself with a series of utterly mental bullshit arguments so as to back up your faith in rafa.
It would be like asking a catholic or jew/islamist to back track on their life's faith and proclaim that god is a cunt fuck him, i was wrong. it can't be done. the only hope for the people on rawk to be free is by their deaths.

In what I think was my first ever post over there a couple of years back, in a discussion about Lucas, I said something along the lines of "He's a young lad, who may improve over time, but given that he's playing in the same midfield as Gerrard, Alonso, Mascherano and a few other better players, I expect him to struggle to break into the first team regularly any time soon...".
The very first response that I got was simply "You're a f@#!ing moron".
Now, whilst I'm aware that some of you agree with that sentiment, you've put that together over a couple of years. I mean, even Brendan would agree with what I said, FFS! That's the kind of "welcome" a new poster gets over there, if they're not 100% on board with the party line...
They really are, for the most part, a bunch of holier-than-thou superfans.

Actually, I find it fun sometimes. You take up a reasonable position on any number of issues, and suddenly you find yourself to be a radical, arguing with a gang of idiots. The game is to see how long you can go without being banned. I've been banned twice so far, and one time it was because they thought I was an agent of one of the four cuntsman of the cuntpocalypse, cunt, cunt, cunt, and hicks.

we champion the truth. a century from now these forums may be the only surviving record of todays team and how it was viewed. it's important people in the future don't revere lucas as some sort of legendary and unplayable combination of emlyn, gerrard and alonso. the truth must survive. rawk must perish

I've always seen this site as rather maverick and outlaw in its general DNA
By that I mean we don't really give a fuck about an awful lot. I think a healthy cynicism and general lack of respect is very refreshing and necessary
Of course, there are certain lines we don't (often) cross, but I think as an LFC fan, having at least one site that refuses to follow the herd and instead says 'wait a minute' is very important
