Jones - 6 - Would have been a 7+ for two good saves on Rosenberg, but that a terrible gift to award West Brom so early on.
Wisdom - 5 - struggled at times. He's physically ready for this level and if he irons out his inconsistencies, will be a good one it seems.
Coates - 8 - excellent performance. Dominating in defense with some key interceptions, and is a threat on every free kick and corner. Unlucky not to score. Should start with Skrtel against Norwich.
Carra - 6.5 - solid performance but he struggled against Lukaku. Some nice interceptions though, and excellent leadership on the pitch. Jono made a point about him looking knackered ... it seems so.
Robinson - 4.5 - struggled. Fortune glided by him numerous times, and rarely offered support to Assaidi. One of those games ...
Henderson - 6.5 - solid game. Defensively strong, and didn't lose the ball.
Sahin - 8.5 - MOTM. Bossed the game, and scored both goals. This is the player we thought we were getting from Madrid. He tracks back very well.
Patches - 7 - struggled at times, but two excellent shots and linked well with yesil + assaidi.
Assaidi - 8 - excellent performance. Tortured whoever played against him and was being double teamed by night's end. Set up the winner. An excellent signing it seems.
Downing - 5 - looks completely devoid of confidence. He needs to move on for his own sake - he's not got a future here, but he could still contribute at a smaller club.
Yesil - 6 - he struggled with the speed and physicality of the game, but he got into some dangerous positions (should have scored in the 1st half) and isn't afraid to shoot. I like what I see. He'll need some time though.

Suso: N/A - only 10 minutes, but what an impact. Was instrumental in the winning goal. He's going to be a star. Thanks Rafa!
Sinclair - N/A - congrats on getting into the Liverpool record books. Loved his smile as he came off.
Rodgers - 9 - I absolutely love what he's done so far with the two cup games. The kids will feed of this, and become far better players because of it. Hopefully, the league results start coming ... Really enjoying where he's taking us.
