I can't see it being the dull tight affairs that we used to see when Mourinho was in charge. I think there'll be goals on both sides.

And I'm going for a 2-1 win, and for Carragher to redeem himself.
 
I'm very worried about set-pieces in this game as they have a number of players 6 foot plus.. and a few "beasts" in the air when it comes to attacking balls (Drogba, Terry, Ballack, Ivanovic).

I find it "cheap" when games of this nature are won on set pieces, but ultimately, that's football and you have to take it on the chin and learn to defend better.

If we defend set pieces today well, I think we'll nick this game 1-0. If we don't, and let them get a "cheap" goal from a FK, then I can see a 2-0/3-0 defeat as they counter us.
 
Comfortable Chelsea win for me.
We're playing like fucking strangers at the back. Not a time to be meeting Anelka, Drogba, Malouda, Lampard, Ballack and Essien.

I'm not really going into this game with any fear as they must be strong favorites, we have nothing to loss really. A draw would be fine a win would be great.
 
My only wish was that there wasnt an international break next week.
If we lose we need another game quick to get over it. If we win we need a game for momentum.
On the plus side 2 weeks may be enough for Aquilani to get fit. Then the season proper can start.
Id take a point here and now and move on.

We've conceded 12 goals in 10 games and have yet to face a top side.
 
I would take a draw now. Cant see us keeping a clean sheet to be honest. Just hope that Nando and Stevie are really up for it and that Mascher is fit to play

If I'm honest I'm not exactly confident about this one either. I'm just hoping for a bit of a reaction from us after a disappointing performance midweek.

I just hope Rafa gives us a chance.
 
I don't really see a clean sheet for either team in this match cos of our defending shambles + them missing Cech and Torres on form. Either a 1-1 or 2-1 win for either side. 😛
 
Quiffing cos only just got in. Three all. We're great going forward but shite at the back, they're great going forward & their pace will annihilate Carra but we're capable of beating them a couple of times.
