Nah.
Typical rodgers though, struggle to hold on to a lead and close out games
to his defense, evans and then fofana are big losses at the back

Is it really his fault?
Fofana is a rock and he's off, which messes them up.
They really had a good run but were tiring at the end.
They need another Maddison like player, and probably one more CB and they should be able to keep 4th next year.

Blah blah blah.

He didn't play Iheanacho against Chelsea
He had Man Utd play their kids against him
He drew with a ten-men Southampton
Lost to Newcastle and West Ham
Dropped 14 points in their last 8 games

Yes they lost Fofana but they were still 2-1 up. Just play defensively and hold your nerves.

Rodgers never finishes the season well, for some reason, which is a shame given his other qualities.

Harsh but fair unfortunately. Needed a result today and couldn't get it. Same as last season.

I’m disappointed, it didn’t actually matter in the end. We still would have been 4th on GD. [emoji2955]

Still, most amazing/unexpected real-time moment I have seen in football.

Just utterly insane. I was working at the time but streaming the match and had to help a patient in injury time. Came back to see what happened and saw our players walking off the pitch.... but looking happy? Googled the score and saw the injury time winner under.... Allisson???? What in the fuck? I've never been so confused, ecstatic, befuddled all at once?

Nah. It did matter. Difficult to identify cause and effect. It might have knocked the sails out of Leicester mentally. A draw could have given Leicester the push it needed. That goal created a feeling of inevitability which helped us against Burnley and Crystal Palace.

As a club, as a community, we are brilliant at using special moments to create a feeling of invincibility, destiny. That was one such moment. Its effect cannot be understated. It will help us next season also. Who knows, if we go deep in the champions league next season, we can look back to that moment to give us strength.

Agreed.

For me, it was the moment I believed again.

I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I was being a bit sarcastic. Of course, it did in many many ways. I suspect winning the last two to “see what happens” would have been 10x harder without it.
