I was actually going to reference that in case anybody thought that there was some favourable bias towards Spurs.
Unless its a bias towards English players which I really doubt.
The logical explanation is that is simply sheer incompetence.
I suspect that incompetence will continue until there is some mechanism where their decisions can be scrutinised and they are held responsible in a public manner.

Edit; I find it very strange and somewhat alarming that the media seem to have little or no interest in being part of the process of questioning the decisions.

The media don't want to be part of the process. They want the inconsistencies to occur. It creates talking points. Sky dish us out pantomime punditry in the studio. Keane and Redknapp will take the No Penalty side today and Souness and Micah Richard will argue for the penalty. Swap roles next week and pretend it's a healthy debate. It's borderline scripted. It's almost insulting for the viewer. It's like WWE. The actor in the studio acts as a heel to his own fan base when you're expecting him to be a face. It's all just a work. For example, Liverpool not awarded a pen, the ex United player says it should have been rewarded. The ex Liverpool player says no. Oooh. Fuck off.

Fuck me but there are some mindboggling decisions made against us in the video.
It would be interesting to see compilations for other teams.
Leeds had an outrageous off side against them early doors in the season.
I saw a crazy stat about the number of goals Werner had disallowed. He’d have won the golden boot if they stood.

That sounds pretty spot on. It reinforces why I don't bother watching any of the pre or post match analysis.
Like you, I don't buy into any of the Sky narratives, which were at their most extreme when they, spearheaded by Gary Neville, were trying to save football from the monster that was the ESL
