This season is up there with my wildest dreams. I expected a drop off like Utd had post Ferguson, Chelsea post Jose, City post Pep whenever he fucks off. Instead we’ve fucking walked the league.

Let’s leave the arguments over whether we’ve fucked our squad and a chance to win other trophies til we see what happens next season.

Ffs we could be champions Sunday evening.

A record 20th fucking title. Let’s fucking good!

GG Arsenal, City and the rest!

It's not really a record is it?

Youth get a chance in Foxes’ dead rubbers

Ruud van Nistelrooy knows the gig is up at Leicester. They are whimpering their way to the Championship but he is at least using the long list of dead rubbers to give academy products a Premier League debut. Jeremy Monga and Jake Evans have come off the bench in recent weeks for a taste of life at the top and the next potential debutant is Olabade Aluko. The 18-year-old defender has progressed through the ranks at the King Power Stadium after joining at 15. Aluko, who can play right-back or centre-back, was named on the bench at Brighton but was an unused substitute, instead witnessing Evans take his bow. Two appearances in the EFL Trophy, against Northampton and Notts County, have given him a taste of senior football but playing against the Premier League champions elect would be one to remember.

Referee: Stuart Attwell. Assistants: Constantine Hatzidakis, Natalie Aspinall. Fourth official: Thomas Bramall.VAR: Michael Salisbury. Assistant VAR: Wade Smith.

I bet the Assistant VAR has boss late 90s drip.

I don’t recall him getting us since. So either nothing major happened or it’s his first time since.

Finally, Liverpool manager Arne Slot spoke about what qualities he wants from a number nine: "The simple answer is goals. He needs to produce goals. Apart from that, in modern-day football, they need to work hard and be part of an intense pressing team.

"If you look at the teams that are now playing in the semi-finals of the Champions League, all 11 players work their backsides off, so that is also what I'm expecting from our number nine - that he is part of an intense, pressing team.

"In the end though, it's helpful that a number nine at Liverpool scores goals."

Oof. The Donkey is in bits here

Well…that is pretty clear isn’t it.

I’m feeling absolutely buzzing about today’s game. I’ll be making a roast with the Arsenal game on in the background. Let’s see how the north London bottle jobs get on.

Then we need to go out the attitude of our last few minutes against West Ham. We smell blood. Now attack. None of this pansy fucking control. Go for the kill. And the title.

I think today will be a big win. And then Confidence will come back just in time for the end of the run in.
As for the lucky or not argument, yes we’ve not been great since Jan, but I think that’s fatigue and now nerves to some degree. I’m pretty sure one of the players eluded to as much after a recent win and subsequent interview with regards to nerves.
Having said all that, we could end up winning by a healthy margin, which isn’t easy in this league.

If Arsenal drop points and we win, does the trophy get handed out at the King Power? Or at Spurs?

I don't mean to be Jinx of course. Just genuinely wondering

It’ll be handed over last game of the season at home to Palace.

You’ve got a good ‘un.

If we do win it I’ll be smashing in a load of Northern Monk and Salt brewery IPAs. Some 7%ers.

Part of me wants us to do it next week when I’ll have a nice fancy red to celebrate.

If I was Elliott I would want out. Getting a fleeting number of appearances here and there isn’t good for his own development.
That’s what was said about Jones; in fact some , and not just on here, wanted him binned for Mason Mount, no less.

We need these types of players around the team instead of lusting after the latest flavour of the month or whoever flashed in the pan.

It’s not what about what we want but what he wants. A manager who reluctantly plays him. I wouldn’t stick around in the hope of getting 7 minutes every 4th game.

Got friends from Canada (son supports the bitters but he’s quite accepting of the fact we’re just better.)

Dad’s into his low alcohol IPAs so hoping for a long nice enjoyable evening of sipping the amber liquid.
