England's top clubs are chasing the hottest young property to emerge in Germany for years – Kevin Volland.
The 21-year-old winger, currently playing for Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga, has emerged as a genuine talent.
He is a left-footed player blessed with pace and dribbling skills and operates on the right wing for his club.
Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have been alerted to his ability, and Tottenham have been on his case for months. The bad news for the top-flight outfits is that Bayern Munich joined the queue last week.
The youngster is rated at £12million and is under contract until 2017.
He burst on to the Bundesliga scene last season and made 30 appearances.
Scouting interest: Bilal Basacikoglu of Heerenveen is being watched by Manchester United

He has also transferred his club promise on to the international stage and has scored seven goals in 14 appearances for the Germany Under-21 team.
Volland was developed as a teenager at Munich 1860 and there’s an increasing belief in Germany that if Volland maintains his progress he could gatecrash his nation’s bid for World Cup glory next summer.
Manchester United have also been sending a delegation of scouts to watch a promising Dutch youngster, Bilal Basacikoglu at Heerenveen.
‘Bilal’, as his coach Marco van Basten prefers to call him, has been a revelation in Dutch football since the 18-year-old made his first-team debut three weeks ago.
