I still think there's an underlying worry about whether in the long term we can justify having Benteke as an option, as brilliant as that seems at the moment, you have to look at how we're set in most games and when we've been our most productive. Usually with three quick, interchanging attackers.
Before someone jumps on my case, I'm not labeling Benteke "slow", but he's slightly more laborious than Sturridge, Origi, Ibe, Coutinho, Lallana and Firmino in terms of movement. He's not the static target that Michael Owen makes him out to be either, but he's somewhere in between and I think crucially, if everyone remains fit, that would be a deciding factor in how instrumental he is to our success.
As a goalscorer, when you give him service inside the box, he's a second to only Sturridge in the squad and not many others in the entire league, but I think there are signs that he's little more of a disjointed fit, compared to a few others in attack. But like I say, he has attributes they don't have too.
