Forster was good against us, actually.

I’m not a fan of Carra, but he stayed remarkably calm given Redknapp repeatedly made shouty strawman arguments against his relatively nuanced perspective.

Redknapp either lacks the intelligence to debate or is too interested in soundbites.

Carragher is on a different level compared to Redknapp when it comes to football knowledge.
He's also been making Neville look like a fool these last couple of years. Honestly I think Neville's hate for Liverpool and love of Man U clouds his judgement. Carra is also biased but a lot more neutral than Neville.

Nevilles bias is the most apparent. Carra (if anything) at times is overly critical of us

Redknapp has never been the brightest. Anything that anyone says to counter his arguments probably only makes sense to him around 5 hours after the show has finished, if at all.

He keeps getting called up cos he's clearly paying some of the teams to wear his clothing brand. I loved him as a player but he's dumb as shit and shouldn't be polluting our punditry. He's perfect for league of their own where being a moron it great TV.

Liverpool send message to rivals

Were Manchester City’s meltdown not such appointment viewing, Liverpool’s supremacy in the Premier League and Arne Slot’s reinvention of a squad that appeared exhausted by the end of Jurgen Klopp’s tenure would be the story of the season. Who can stop them? Certainly not a Tottenham team living up to historic cliches, and those added by Ange Postecoglou’s conceit of being the alpha-male manager whose team sting like a butterfly and press like one too. Liverpool’s forwards surging through Spurs’s defence, taking potshots as they liked at Fraser Forster, who for all his foibles kept the total down to single figures, was a devastating sight for those who trail in Liverpool’s wake. Not that Arsenal and Chelsea would have relied on Tottenham for favours. Spurs, who kept playing in a next-goal-wins fashion, poked holes in Liverpool’s defence and Mohamed Salah’s demeanour at being subbed raised questions about his future. Beyond that, Liverpool may well be untouchable.

There was a time when Neville was better as a pundit than he is now, willing to give us credit where it was due and not so generally far off the deep end with some of the points he made. His decline has mirrored that of his club and I suspect that's not a coincidence.

Carra can be a bit of a tit at times, trying too hard to be unbiased and going too far in the opposite direction, but he's got nothing on that raddled old bloodhound Lawrenson, whose comments became so anti-LFC that he stopped going to games at Anfield because he was getting booed there.

One of the many problems with Neville is that his worst nightmare keeps coming true. Man United are shit and Liverpool are good.

When he had the comfort blanket of United at least being decent and us not winning anything he could bring himself to at least appear reasonable, but now he has let his bitterness take over.

I said it last week, I'll say it again ... he's world class.
It's insane how smart he is, how he's making the right decision almost 99% of the time, how good he is defensively, how press resistant he is, how stupid Bayern are for giving him to us for peanuts, how lucky we are that Robbie gave us Slot to unlock his potential etc .. I mean he's going to dominate the middle of the park for years ... WHAT A PLAYER

Was it Dmishra whom was first to mention his ability to progress the ball all those years ago? some talent and not even just talking about the tash.

I said over the summer how press resistant he is and can make those progressive passes. He just needed a preseason and game time.

I can’t stand Redknapp. The only reason he’s on there is because he is a pretty boy.

I dont like either.

Carras analysis is usually good, but his commentary is dogshit.

Redknapp is exactly what you see on a league of their own. Its not an act, he's an entitled bellend.

I completely agree with this.

I know everyone is saying it was only Spurs but that is the first time they have lost by more than one goal all season and in reality, if we hadn't hit the snooze button, the difference could have easily been five or six
I know you are so right...but its only Spurs.

Was travelling back home yesterday and haven't had much of a chance to process. Literally fucking incredible match. They scored 3 but that was on them rather than on us for the main part. What a joyous Christmas present of a game.
