That was really strong Southampton side, and playing them in their own patch isn't going to be easy for any team. We struggled in the first 10-15, but as soon as Studge scored the first we looked supremely confident. This is exciting.

Joe Allen's pass was stunning.

Love this quote from RedCafe :

Liverpool spent 300M over the last 3-4 years. It´s nearly impossible to spend 300M and only buy trash. They have a good squad. They hammered Southhampton without starting Mignolet, Clyne, Sakho, Gomez, Milner, Henderson, Ibe, Firmino, Coutinho, Benteke and Ings. That´s basically a full starting 11. You really telling me their players are average?

My favourite was

"That wanker and his wanker dance are back"

Just a word about Origi. It seems that he is not immune to the 'Klopp Effect'.

He has looked like he had some skills deep down but he brought them all together tonight; pace, power, frightening shooting power, he's a tall lad so we know he can head, very good technical skills, control, flicks and showboating stuff ... and awareness. I may even go back and bump him up to MotM because he gets better the more I talk about him !
He was awesome tonight and that will be like a double dose of your favourite drug to his confidence ... bang !

Happy for the goal feast, now I really believe Klopp will bring the 19th to us soon.
Anyway out of the 5 games under Klopp at Anfield,we scored only one goal in 4 of them,2 against Bordeaux,
Looking forward to seeing much more better scorelines !

All the more impressive given the majority of our first team didn't start - Mignolet, Clyne, Sakho, Gomez (I know he's injured but he's the best left-back at the club), Milner, Henderson, Firmino, Benteke, and Coutinho. And that our young players didn't just feature, they revelled and excelled at the opportunity.

Yes.

Definitely yes. But I don't think he will.
The question should be a bit more general, like who will keep their place?
Everyone did well today. Much better than that wank performance against Swansea.

Don't you just love it when you can't get enough of the team. I should actually focus on several other things going on atm but I just can't wait for the next game.
Fucking great being a Liverpool fan right now.

We play so much better away from home. I actually wanted us to play at anfield in the first leg.

Oh this is the quote of the week. Wihoo, under the right manager it's true!

That was more impressive than the City game for me. Best performance of the Klopp era, weakened team away from home against a very good side and we smashed them to pieces.

It's a hard game to judge Bogdan as apart from their goal (with which he had no chance) he hardly has anything else to do. Mignolet has had made some mistakes lately but given Klopp's support for him I think it unlikely he'll get dropped.
