Coming from the Sturridge post match interview, but I get the impression it's a feeling across the team, he seemed absolute gutted we got the draw and not the win. In fairness it was a good result a draw, but draws don't win you trophies or get you in the top four, we've been happy drawing too many games in the past, and not being happy tonight is a great sign.

If you win your home games, away victories are bonuses. A win against Southampton is crucial now, but that was a decent point. That's a very good Swansea team who will take points off plenty of good teams there.

It's odd - they have better players this year than last, but their team was better last year going on their first few games so far ...

I'm just hoping the players don't see this as a momentum killer in the coming weeks.

Swansea have played Utd, Spurs and us in the first 4 games. They are a good side make no mistake about that. Will be Top 6-8 this year.

Happy with the result tonight if not the 2nd half performance (again).

That's nonsense because nobody wins all their home games, making away wins the deciding factor. Last season 6th-placed Everton got more home points (42) than Spurs (38), Arsenal (38) and Chelsea (41) but only managed 4 'bonus' away wins and languished 9pts behind Spurs in 5th place.

To be fair, four points from trips to Villa Park and the Liberty Stadium is a good return.

A point here is decent, 10 points in 4 is awesome for sure, but on the back of today's second half performance, a home win against Southampton is doubly vital now to keep our momentum going.

I think you'll find that a positive mental attitude says that 4pts isn't good enough against that oppostion.

Well the way the 2nd half turned out, we're lucky to even get a point.
Actually, without Shelvey's help, we would probably have lost.

Shelvey 2-2 Shelvey

I think this is part and parcel of buying young, hungry kids with a point to prove ... or bringing them up from the yooth set up.

It's what Ferguson did in the early 90s with that class of kids, and the mixture of McClair, Cantona, Bruce etc ... Hopefully that's what we're doing, and hopefully, we'll have similar results and knock them right back off their fucking perch.
