Before the season started I was one of the few saying that we could win the league with the current squad.
I meant that we were strong enough, considering that we weren't playing in Europe.
So I'm not really surprised with how it has gone, but I'm not really that confident yet.
I'll be more confident if we're top of the league at the start of May. If not, I don't think we can do it.
You have a point about giving youth players a chance but i don't see why that should stop us with a signing like this, it hasn't stopped us before.
The reason to sign him is that with the right application, coaching and hard work along with his abilty/talent he would be a great player, the sky is the limit for someone blessed with his talent but who knows if he really has it in him to do everything he can to work towards and become a world class player? thats the thing.

I dont see Spurs, Everton or Utd getting more than 74 points. They'll all lose at least 3 games each in the run in imho.
