THey'll hire him for advice and guidance on how to improve the atmosphere in the physio rooms and to impart his world class knowledge on treatment effectiveness (eg if he's had it, it's shit)

you know how everyone says Klopp leaving is a great loss to the league? Yea Guardiola leaving won’t be that.

I hope to enjoy a long delicious period of struggle and fume from them

They’ll likely appoint Arteta and dominance shall continue.

Hasn't pep said he'd like to stay, but they'll see. City, for all their riches, would be stupid to let him walk

Was a story yesterday that he has decided to leave in 2025. Could depend on what happens from the 115 as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was hedging his bets because of the 115. He holds all the cards there and if he could get out unblemished he would.

The second they’re found guilty he’s off. Remember, he’s always been a cheat. Horrible cunts.

At least the stray dogs of Manchester will be able to relax.
You don't think he gets the entire squad to go the dogs trust after wins?

It's the ethos of the club and binds them

Yes, hire someone who is a serial bottler and expect to dominate.

The point being, that he is learning how to run a top club at Arsenal, knows the City squad and should be able to provide continuity to Peps style.

I didn’t think I would need to explain that to you.

What City will want is someone who won’t want to reinvent the wheel - what the rest of us want is someone that’s either inexperienced or wants to change everything.

Besides - serial bottler is a bit harsh on Arteta.

yea i hope he is a serial bottler but what i see at arsenal is year on year improvement, strongly dislike him though

I’ll always have a spot for him for his incredible work in Africa.

Good point, plus (having initially gone full-scale Do Not Want on Bellamy) I'd add that he frequently played very well for us.

He's apparently ruled himself out of following Kompany to Bayern BTW.

I dont think they go for Arteta. If anything they could go for someone already in the City system. But most likely they’ll go for a manager with a proven track record like Guardiola was at the time.

Arteta hasnt proven anything yet imho other than being 1st for 90% of the season and still not winning. Until he wins thats the fact.
Going out early in Europe two seasons in a row dosent help either.

With their money they can go after anyone they choose, even if he's already in a job. I can't help wondering if they'll set their cap at Ancelotti (a) because he's the best out there and (b) to put Real's noses out of joint.

Hasn’t he been earmarked for the Brazil job?

No way that happens much as he’s a great manager.

It’s difficult because there is no Pep out there.

If he hadn’t ruled it out, and I trust he’s a man of his word…. Klopp would be the appointment that would put everyone’s noses out of joint.

Press saying it's the Leicester Manager, Enzo Maresca for Chelsea. Also rumours Potter to return to the Amex
