The point being, that he is learning how to run a top club at Arsenal, knows the City squad and should be able to provide continuity to Peps style.

I dont think they go for Arteta. If anything they could go for someone already in the City system. But most likely they’ll go for a manager with a proven track record like Guardiola was at the time.
Arteta hasnt proven anything yet imho other than being 1st for 90% of the season and still not winning. Until he wins thats the fact.
