Hard to see Villa not conceding though; they've looked pretty naive defensively a few times now. They should be thankful Torres isn't what he used to be. Villa has lots of pace and plays some pretty passes in midfield, but the final ball is so predictable - it's almost always a diagonal high ball looking for Benteke trying to slip in between the two centrebacks. Terry + Cahill have been having an easy time intercepting or heading those away though.

Modo, Petes right, i don't know where you get this being a winger from, you really come across as ill informed on this subject, fair enough if you dislike him, we all have our players we don't like for whatever reasons but this kid has undoubted potential, its blatently there, its whats between his ears thats the problem and thats the gamble.
I get and agree with the team spirit and thats where we would have to do our homework if we are interested but i really feel our manager is perfect for getting the best out of and developing someone like him, again it all depends what his head is really like, its hard to know but its not hard to know that he could be a fantastic player, hes 21 and made mistakes in the past, we all have, shit happens, he actually does look like he is maturing this past year or so, maybe the penny has dropped?, as for the Allardyce getting rid of him buisness its pretty much common knowledge that theres some real shitty shady behaviour on Allardyces part and some of the senior players and a certain agent.
Also how can you compare him to Downing and Adam Johnson and say my comparisons are irrelevent? lol?.
Loads of people wrote off a talented young Sturridge in the same way as you are doing to Morrison, you say loads of people knew Sturridge was talented before he joined us, well a lot of people were oblivious to it judging from online polls as to whether we should sign him, just like you and others seem to be with Morrisons talent, will it ever get fufilled?, hard to tell but if you can't see his blatent talent then i don't really know what else to say.

Pressurised by Fat Sham and senior players to sign with their agent and Morrison didn't want any of it, strange shady stuff really, there was an article in the Guardian about it, no throw away bullshit article either, looked like the author had inside info, i'll hunt it out in a bit.
