We should definitely have signed Bruno Guimaraes with the data available now. But hindsight is a wonderful thing as he wasnt on many peoples radar when playing for Lyon.

Karma mother fucker, 60m and the most memorable thing he's done is a few keppy uppies against Minnowtingham Forest.

Leeds losing 1-0. Great goal but sloppy give away pass (unaware of who is around him) by Rodrigo

Mings being Mings has gifted Chelsea, specifically Mount, two goals. Villa two down after home.

Arsenal are so lucky this season. Rub of the green again.
Leeds should have had a goal.

4 points clear at the top of the table now. If we can't win the title this year, it would be great if Arsenal beat City to it.

I'm with Rurik. Forget their fans, they will have done it the 'right way' giving Arteta time and some money but nothing like the Oil State clubs. And it'd fuck with the heads of that arrogant club/fans/Guardiola no end - you'd love to see it (whether it's Arsenal or us).

That said I don't count us out yet. City have shown more weakness this season (they've not really played anyone of real consequence yet unless you include United or Newcastle away, which they drew 3-3) and Haaland may have started like a house on fire but he'll get injured or have a poor spell. As far as reeling them in, the Rangers game and now this may have kick-started our season, our confidence will be sky high and the World Cup break may help too.

We are 10 points behind City with a game in hand but have yet to go to the Etihad. A very tough ask but we've come from further behind them before.

We're 14 points behind Arsenal but with a game in hand. If we win that, and against them at Anfield, then that's 8 points. Arsenal aren't going to continue their start and 8 points would be easily recoverable over 28 games.
It's worth remembering that their first 6 games were Villa, Fulham, Bournemouth, Leicester, Palace & Brentford and they lost 3-1 at United (and were lucky as hell to win yesterday at Leeds). They aren't an all conquering juggernaut by any stretch of the imagination, though played a great game against us it should still be noted.

In all likelihood it's not going to happen but it's also worth considering it as still being possible for a team under Klopp, that has overcome larger deficits (forget what Klopp said, he's not saying that to the team in private).

I cant handle Arsenal or Spurs winning the league. City dominating is one thing, but teams that we should be better then winning it would be just awful.

Arsenals luck must surely turn at some point.

We are back in it, like just on the edge but it could happen if we hit a bit of form now and string some results together.

I think Trent is still our main option at RB. Gomez is worse at right back than him, and although Milner obviously stepped it up yesterday, I don't think he'll be playing too many games at that standard there. Trent just needs to get some form, quickly. We do need a Tsimikas style player to compete with him too.

I was wondering before the game yesterday if it would have been worth Tsimikas playing RB.

We have a left footed RWF in Salah, would it be that risky to start getting Tsimikas some minutes on the right? We also need to get Ramsey on the pitch so he doesn't shit the bed when we really, really need him.
