Luis, just keep it shut please. This sort of stuff isn't helping your case, refs will be all over him.

Luis Suarez has admitted his critics were right to accuse him of diving to win a penalty at Stoke this season.
In an extensive interview with Fox Sports Argentina the Liverpool forward repeated claims that he is treated differently by the media because of his South American background and again accused the press of being at Manchester United's beck and call.
But Suarez held up his hands over a dive at Anfield in October which led Stoke manager Tony Pulis to call for the a suspension.
He said: "I don't listen all the nonsense some people say about me. I'm accused of cheating here. People say I throw myself all the time inside the box.
"They said that when we played against Stoke, for instance, and in that case they were right. I invented a foul because we were drawing and I wanted to win.
"Sometimes on the pitch I say to myself, "What have I done?" But the name of Suarez sells papers."
The Uruguayan was recently accused of deliberately handling the ball moments before his winning goal at non-league Mansfield in the FA Cup.
But he said: "I touched the ball with my hand accidentally, and I was criticised because I kissed my hand. I say to the media: you should talk more about football, not about other stuff."
Suarez is yet to be forgiven by some supporters for racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra - an offence which earned him an eight-match ban last season.
He said: "When someone comes and says to me something bad about being a South American, I don't cry, because that happens inside the pitch.
"I have my conscience clean. But as I have said: Manchester United controls the media, they are powerful and the media will always help them.
"It's complicated to play here in England. As Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero have said, it's complicated for a South American footballer to be here as we are treated differently to the local footballers."

Course he is, and it's ok for that shit stirring controlling cunt Fergie to tell us that it's just foreign players who dive. That's not racist.

Why is anyone worrying? In case the press give us some negative coverage? Imagine.

I'm concerned that refs are going to give him even less than they already do if he admits he's trying it on in the papers. They're going to think 'well your going to get fuck all out of me this weekend'.

He gets fuck all anyway so it won't make any difference.

I disagree with that. At the moment, he doesn't get any of the dubious ones where other people might, understandably. But he does get a lot of decisions. But with him saying this start of stuff, he's going to start not getting the two footed leg breakers as they'll think he's trying it on.

The article wont change anything.
And its not as if it suddenly could damage our current glowingly positive media stories or the shitload of penalties we're getting at the minute.

So he admits to cheating?

Clever

He's too fucking honest for his own good. They FA have nothing on him for a 'racist language' charge, so he goes and admits to saying it. He tells the newspapers he's cheating during the game. What next, going on Oprah for fucking doping?

He's the best thing to happen to this club in a long time.

Yup ... but you know, none of our players in our glory years ever did anything naughty ... so we have to get used to this idea of dirty players ...

I don't have a problem with his honesty - Every non-English player does it, and it's a 50/50 gamble. He either gets a peno, or nothing (and a yellow and negative press coverage). As he doesn't care, I hope he continues to do as he's been doing. Who really cares - he should have won ~5 penalties this year, and he's only got 1 ... so it's not like him saying he does it is going to change that much.

Well, they crucify him for not reporting to the ref that the ball touched his hand at Mansfield.
Now they'll crucify him for admitting he dived against Stoke.
It's a lose-lose game.

Just look at the state of our club, and some of the weak willed players we have. You can't look at them and think "the problem we have is this player who wants to win maybe a little too much."

Definitely not, but admitting to doing it is not going to help his cause in winning more penalties.

Nothing good can come from being honest about it.

I know! I was furious when Armstrong admitted he cheated! Now he, like Suarez, can be our heroes .... Maybe we should just stick with Rooney? Shagging 70 year old prozzies ain't that bad.

At least it wasn't in the same interview, in a matter of lines, that Armstrong claimed a conspiracy against him and admitted to being guilty.

Oh, I'm sure a bunch of people will make a lot of noise about this, but 1) if you dive, we know you are cheating, by virtue having seen you cheat. What you say about it afterward doesn't matter. I'd rather Suarez than Bale. 2) Nothing will help his cause in winning more penalties, the very fact that this exists as a premise suggests how flawed reffing is.

I know you want to be proven right all the time - but most people have said that Suarez has deserved numerous penalties (Norwich etc) ... So there's no conspiracy, just a reality where those in black are indecisive due this reputation. Players like Bale are beginning to suffer from this too - but he suffers from it the most, and it didn't start on his arrival here. It started last year a few games into the season. Now, you hate that kind of logic because you want to believe everything is fine and dandy. I think that's a valid way of thinking, and I think mine is too.

Does he dive? Sure. Does he 'act' to get penalties? Sure. Does he not get quite a few penalties where there are penalties? Sure. Does he get stamped on and the ref sees it and doesn't even blow for a foul? Sure. Soooo ... I don't see how admitting he dove once negates what you, if you wanted to be honest, have seen yourself with Suarez ...

Fair summary, no?
