Quite. Which was my point aswell. Vidic and Howedes arent the tallest cbs, both 6"2 but very good in the air due to balance, jumping, timing and upper body strength.

I think Keni asked how tall he was when I reffered to Vidic.

I asked how tall he is simply because it's a reasonable starting point to determine whether he'll be useful in the air. Of course you don't need to be tall to be good in the air and Ayala is one of the better examples for that given his relatively diminutive stature. These players tend to be the exception rather than the rule though.
 
We would end up with a former Reading or Swansea player knowing the system paired with a 4.6 lightweighter capable of passing the ball.

Yeah I know mate. I agree with you aswell. There arent many of the Cannavaros and the Ayalas around.
I'd like for at least one of the CBs to be around Hyppias size.
