Is he the most improved player in the squad or what?

I don't think he's particularly spectacular but there's no chat about his position being up for grabs, as we've had in previous windows

Is it just down to there being more pressing concerns or are the club and fans alike quietly satisfied with him?

I think it's more about the priorities being elsewhere. He did great to recover from that horror period last season but he'll never be a top, top goalkeeper.
