Apparently on the subject of him getting the boot with Pellegrini coming in, Mancini said: "You continue to speak about this for six months and also too much in the last two weeks. I don't know why the club didn't stop this because I don't think it's true."

I actually like Mancini. He seems decent enough to me - but I wouldn't sympathise if he got sacked. A squad of that calibre and value should be competing for the league until the last day of the season and be in the final rounds of the Champions League.

He knew what he signed up to so he could have no complaints.

Agree. I don't have a problem with him as an individual but I don't think he's all that as a manager.

I think the Arabs who bought City must have been somewhat decieved by his CV, his winning spell in Italy consists mainly of the period where other teams were penalised for their involvement in the Calciopoli scandal.
