From what I've seen Nunez played well? Certainly no worse than half the mongs in the squad
Slightly better Origi, are you alright Stevie? You been sippin' too much Aussie liquor again? He set up both goals today....if Grav scores the tap in he's basically played a big hand in all 3.
Origi scored some big goals, unforgettable goals but let's be honest he was pretty ordinary most of the time. Nunez scored more in his first season than any one of Origi's 6 seasons or whatever it was. Scored more last season than Origi's last 3 seasons here.
At this point I'm pretty sure you're just looking to pin the blame on him whenever possible when we don't win and it's becoming tiresome tbh, instead of asking why Ali and Mac are fucking up, why Robbo is playing like a sunday league, why Grav isn't scoring a simple tap in, why we constantly defend set pieces like a bunch of spastics you look to Nunez?
Just fucking start him klopp for fucks sake
I think we were managing minutes since he had a cramp didn't he?
Anyway, the more Nunez does stuff that is useful outside of scoring, the more he will play. He's playing so much more relaxed than last year.
Just a world class striker doing his thing, no real surprise to see his massive contributions. If he would’ve started he’ll have scored a few…but can understand why he didn’t and it’s nothing to do with form.
Potentially, but its seemingly been the case for the entire of the season. He's doing everything right, and proving a consistent threat for pressing, assists and goals. If he doesn't start next weekend i'll genuinely be at a loss
At the expense of Jota who does fuck all every game to warrant starts? Goes on his mazy runs and loses the ball 9 times out of 10.Though the argument for him to start is good, but he comes on as a sub, he has huge impact on the game. I think it's fair to see his better games have been him coming on as a sub?
