Since the hapless brainless talentless cunt has been out the side we've stuck the most back to back wins together and played the best football in my memory.

Maybe my memory isn't that great. But that's how it seems.

He was playing fine, some good, some not so good, but anything other than top notch and your agenda kicks back in, regardless of the fact that your favourites were playing much worse than him, because you've got to.let everyone know that the only reason he's getting away with it is because he's a good old scouser.

All in all he's done well but what is it that you're trying to tell me?
That he's exempt from criticism?

Fuck Cissokho, I couldn't give a toss if he plays. Playing Flanagan has turned out to be a master stroke by Rodgers.
But in my mind, if he's good enough to play in the first team and start in the first team he should be judged as a first team player. If I see him get done by a player several times during a game, am I not allowed to mention it?
Is it criminal to say that he's had a poor game?
I'd like to think that I give players praise when it's deserved.
He's 21 years old, not a 17 year old who just played in the FA youth cup.

I've read that some want him in the England squad. Is that not hyperbole?
Also, ahead of WHO? Johnson? Walker? Baines? Cole? Shaw?

I don't normally agree with modo but flanagan was extremely poor today, as was johnson. Flanno gets a pass from me for winning the penalty though.

He's had almost no experience in anyone's first team before now. Him and Lucas are the two least talented players in the team. But when the attacking talent wasn't doing anything of note, we won the game because Lucas wasn't afraid to try a pass he isn't good enough to play, and Flanagan gets into the box trying to score a goal he isn't good enough to score. Their attitudes are both excellent. Your praise of one and criticism of the other is irrational. The bolded sentence fits Lucas like a glove too.

One great pass - and a good performance. Exactly what we needed though in the position he was thrown on. Well done Lucas and keep it up.

If I was running the site I think I'd just permaban Modo for shite like this. It doesn't even really annoy me in a narrow context - but it's just so fucking breathtakingly boring and energy sapping. Just deliberate, petty, mood-spoiling bollocks that takes posters away from interesting discussions elsewhere.

I think too many people are too quick to shout agenda at Modo, and they are those who often get the same taunts thrown at them. e.g. Mystic (Hendo is a legend) and Mark (Johnson is shit etc).
