Liverpool vs Everton. Tuesday, 28th January, 20.00

5 1/2 hours to go to the biggest Derby in 30 years.

The first 10 mins will be the worst as we find out a. if we look on our high-tempo game and really up for it and b. if our formation looks remotely viable and not a big invitation to Everton to control the midfield.

I agree. Molby said that we started the Villa match as if we hadn't heard the final whistle of the Stoke match, failing to fight all over again for dominance in the midfield. We need to start this one really aggressively but intelligently.

We need to treat it like an away match, & either see out the first twenty minutes or score against run of play early, cos they'll come out flying.

Like Ryan said, it's blood and guts stuff tonight. We need big individual performances (Gerrard, Suarez, Skrtel, Mignolet, Sturridge), accept the system goes out the window, and hope that at the end of 90 mins we've outscored 'em.

Massive, massive game tonight.

Make it 20 years.

Agree with the rest. Everton dominated Arseanl at the Emirates - they are a very good side. I hope they miss Coleman and Barkley, and that we manage to fight back in MF, and give service to Suarez and Sturridge.

No off the pitch agendas being made through subs etc either, don't want to none of that shite where we throw on a kid like a rabbit into the headlights just to prove a point over transfers. If we're playing shite aswell, we change things, none of this persevering with fuck ups to see if it miraculously turns out ok, if we need to make three subs at half time because we're all over the place, then fucking do it!

Coleman is out, Distin could make it, Jagielka will play with a tight hamstring and they're considering giving Barkley a pain injection so that he can make the game.

I wouldnt play semi fit players in the derby as I think that could backfire, so I hope they will but we'll see.
It will be tough regardless who starts.

They are a better side now than under Gollum, even if that is mainly through using players from Citeh and Chavs. I was never fearful of a team sent to our place by Gollum, but their away record, low number of losses and goals conceded record is annoying. We'll have to outscore them. And we will. Fuck them.

In fairness aswell, it's great conditions for players with tight hamstrings and knocks, hopefully they play and one of the cunts pulls up.
