I'm embarrassed. I woke up late this morning to. A congrats text from an arsenal fan.

Just saw the goals. Jesus. Fortress Anfield
Is back and a CL spot is back on

Fucking immense performance and result. Press teams like that and we're unstoppable. Had a right giggle walking home from the match in the middle of a load of Gooners. Bliss.

I hope someone snaps that little wanker Wilshere in half next week.

Except the other way around!

I can't believe I'm typing this but I wish our last 13 games were against top 6 sides.

We'd win the league.

I never thought we could top the derby but we have and by a distance

An awesome day for Brendan Rodgers. He deserves all the praise he gets and more. A tremendous first half performance. Tiny, tiny quibble about the odd bad habit creeping back in during the last twenty minutes (Suarez wins a free kick in their half, within seconds the ball is back with Mignolet; we win a corner, within seconds the ball's back with Mignolet again), but hell, that was magnificent.

I'm so happy Coutinho won the battle of the no. 10's. Totally bossed Wilshere in the first half and reduced him to a petulant whiny kid.

Wilshire is one of the most unlikeable good players in the game. And the ref let him get away with his usual discreet thuggishness today. I hope he gets walloped by someone on Wednesday.

Indeed. People were creaming themselves about Mourinho's genius against City, but that was as much a tactical victory as it was a great performance from the players.

I'd extend the good performance assessment to the rest of the game, though. You can't play with the intensity that we did in the first half hour for an entire game. The key is to make the most of the periods that you are dominant, and we did that without question today. We drew the second half 1-1, and never looked anything but in control. We were lethal when we needed to be, and professional throughout. It was an excellent performance from start to finish, IMO.

Oh and congratulations to Rodgers. 0 wins against Everton, City, Chelsea, Gunners and United last season, and now already more than half way through in correcting that. With Chelsea and City yet to come, he still has a shot at notching his first wins with Liverpool against them.

Henderson and Sterling both need to be heading to Brazil on current form.

If we can get Sterling especially to get some matches, I think that would be huge for our youth set up.

From RAWK.

Idris Elba, Kevin Kostner, Prince Harry, Colin Firth, Andy Serkis, Jay-Z, Osama Bin Laden, Piers Moron, Alan Smith, Bruce Forsyth, Pete Tong, Dex Fletcher, Clive Anderson, Darren Bent, Henry Cooper, Andy Murry, Lewis Hamilton, Matt Damon, can you hear me? Matt Damon, can you hear me? Your boys took one hell of a beating. Your boys took one hell of a beating.

Fuck me pink, majestic - when we play with pace, power and belief we will bitch slap anyone at home

I deliberately left the house and went for a long walk, listening to Alice Cooper, van Halen, Foreigner, Mister Mister, Metallica, Imperiet etc. at full volume. Came back to this and I can't just describe the feeling. Neighbour had recorded and edited the good bits, and there were many.

Can't just describe the feeling.

That was just insane. The whole pub was rocking. When we made it 3-0 and 4-0, almost everyone were shaking their heads in disbelief.
