For me it was a penalty for United, but not a red card for Masher.
IMO, you can't have a penalty *and* a red card if you deny a goal-scoring opportunity - it's too much of an advantage. It's either a red outside the box or a yellow and penalty in it as far as I'm concerned.
Torres looked a deserved yellow, too, and as Spion says, Torres needs to knuckle down and get on with this game, because apart from the goal he's contributed fuck all.
Since the penalty we've kept our shape extremely well and defended decently, although we need to cut out the amount of freekicks around the box, but hey, what's new? We also need to be more assertive in the middle of the park, although this is made difficult by Javier's yellow card.
