It's as good as officially confirmed that Stevie has indeed split with his delightful other half & is living apart from her.

Considering our captain hasnt got the strongest of mentalities it makes sense he's not performing.

Least he hasn't committed murder.

I can't fucking stand the bitch.

Yup. Last time he had a similar dip in form for extended periods was when his parents were separating.

So we need fresh new ownership, a fresh new manager, and some fresh tail for the captain, and all will be well?

Extremely disappointing and I think this match is a microcosm of our season...

Excellent post LFD - Hard to disagree with any of it. You should contribute more often.

Frankly, I simply do not believe anyone who says that had one of our lads been fouled exactly the same way, they would not have looked for a penalty.

Exactly right, and bleating about the penalty is just idiotic.

It was 1-1 and 11 men vs 11 men.

We were just shit.

Sorry but that's garbage. We'd have wanted the pen.all right, but we'd have been wrong, 'coz it simply wasn't one. And we were no more shit than they were, which makes the "penalty" the game-changer.

It may have been a bad call, but we had very little interest in winning the game after the penalty as opposed to not losing it.

Which is Rafa's mantra.

I said it elsewhere, how many here think we'd have defended a 1-0 lead until the game ended?

JJ - Mascher has a hold of him for about ten yards including as he enters the box... The spot isn't necessarily where he initiates contact, in this specific example - It's a penalty.

Those are different points, Avvy. I definitely agree with the first two. The last is more speculative but on balance I agree with that as well.

Let's agree to differ, mo chara. IMO the TV replay we saw here made it clear that Masher had let go of Valencia's shirt before either set foot in the area. When Mike Phelan, Ginsoak's assistant, was interviewed on BBC radio he didn't even try to defend the decision.

I still luv ya (and Avvy) though. ;D
