Strange game in some way – we don't really look a better team than Wolves, but in some way it might be helping us that we're just playing and not trying to dominate. Our base looks more solid with the 2 CBs and Fabinho in front of them; Phillips has won absolutely everything in the air. I thought Thiago was the best player on the pitch and Mane is looking lively again, despite missing the chances. On the other hand, Robbo looks a spent force and Wijnaldum is not doing much, to put it mildly. We need to up the tempo in the 2nd half to make sure to bring the points home.

Watching Philips at CB the way he plays is very much in the vein of a Jamie Carragher/Stephan Honchoz. willing to put his body on the line for the cause.

For me; with all our CB fit first coice pair would be VVD Matip then VVD Philips. Gomez third. and Kabak fourth...

Kabak is a decent player but he plays his best games on VVD side of the pitch

Matip is like injured horse. He needs to go in the summer
