I'm sorry Fabio but we'll have to agree to disagree because I completely disagree with you on this one. When Henderson has been in the middle we haven't been overrun, whereas when we'd have only Adam and Gerrard we have been, that's evidence enough to me about how effective he is.

none of gerrard, adam and henderson should be given the task of protecting the back four because it's clear they don't want the job and frankly they are rubbish at it, individually and collectively (and before someone mentions gerrard, he hasn't had to play as a holding midfielder so anyone other than england).

the first goal by bolton is just staggering how the player with the ball is allowed to run (unchallenged) all the way to goal and take a shot. that was bolton (one of the worst teams in the league), tonight were playing man city.

Actually, Id play Johnson with Kelly behind him if he's fit.
