He moves the ball around nicely enough but other than that has been to much a passenger.
carroll has been excellent. I really wish players would gamble on carroll's ability to win the ball. in fact in general we aren't commiting enough bodies to the attack.

Carroll best player & looks in great form.
Spearing has been poor, very poor.
The back four looks a mess at times, which is understandable, doni isn't even trying to marshall them either.
We look vulnerable when they attack, but the last ten mins of that half we looked good going forwards & Carroll was unlucky not to score, he was owning haangeland in the air.

I *think* he managed to put his shirt on properly, pretty sure I saw his number on the back.
coates and skrtel need to push up the pitch and the midfielders around carroll need to game. we're doing some good things but it's happening too deep for it to make a difference.
also if aurelio wasn't injury prone I've have him over enrique, he really is a quality player.
