I suspect the boos for Gerrard were from the manc/Celtic fans. I've no doubt that if it had been Celtic v manu the boos would have been from the Liverpool/Celtic fans. If you follow what I mean.

So weakening our forward line by getting rid of the top 4 attackers in the world, and strengthening the midfield by replacing Lucas (Let's be realistic, Gerrard will keep his place, and we won't find anyone better than Coutinho right now to play the advanced central role) will strengthen our team overall. We are a better club with him though and no matter how you look at it, he wants to go so you can ignore it as much as you like but he's done with us.
