Did well - Allen and Sterling (maybe Shelvey)

Come to expect more from - Gerrard, Johnson, Suarez, Reina

Average - everyone else

*Sahin should not have started he looked lost

Thats incredibly kind on Gerrard and Reina

It's a good thing I'm travelling down to London today, it's going to be way too depressing reading all the negative ( but probably accurate) posts about the game today.

Footsie used to make me happy. These days it makes me mostly very very sad.

I have to say, Dalglish's shite no plan A tactics and crap signings looked a lot better against Arsenal than this.

Just saying like.

Why are they hoofing high balls into the area when Andy Carroll is not available any more?

I wouldn't drop him yet mate, but i honestly think that's the worst i've seen him play.

Thats the problem, hes getting worse in this system not better, and the more the other players like Sterling Shelvey etc adapt the more he starts to stand out as a guy who is completely doing his own thing. I really think hes on thin ice here, he is either refusing to adapt in which case a showdown is coming or he is not capable which means we are unlikely to see him as a fixture in the team

I detest Howard Webb. Fucking blatant penalty and red card.

Not good enough from our point view. Must do better

I see the statistics are out in force. Worst start in 50 years apparantly

If we finish top 10 and BR can get the players playing the system he wants effectively I'd be happy. Small steps and all that.

Liverpool in crisis. Gonna' have to get used to reading that for the next 2 weeks. Think it's a good time to stay away from reading sports pages.

I think I will keep away from the football forum until we win a league game! Cricket, NBA, MLB, Rugby anyone?

The young/new players are playing like they're hungry and trying to make an impression, some of the senior players need to realise their places in the team are not a given.

Next game Shelvey should start instead of Gerrard, with Jones instead of Reina, I would suggest dropping Suarez too but there is literally no one else to come in.

I hope people dont start turning on Rodgers, I think he's been royally screwed over on the striker situation.he was asked to clear the wage bill, which he done but you can't let that many players go and bring no one in. There's not a lot more to lose at this point, the likes of Suso need to be thrown in, we don't have many other options.

And I don't know what people are talking about, we shouldn't have had any penalties, neither of them were pens. Blame Howard Webb all you want, we didn't do anything close to good enough to win.

Lack of strikers is Liverpool's main problem, but far from the only one: Reina and Gerrard increasingly becoming issues.

Arsenal were slaughtered for their start last season, and finished in the top four.

. the amount of fucks given for Rodgers today. He wanted to show the door to Carroll completely of his own voilition. He also chose to ignore Osama, Yesil, Morgan and the other attacking players we left just to make a stupid point to the world today about our owners. Well done, good job Brendan.

Hold my hand up.Top 4 is a long long long way off, honestly thought there was half a chance, just felt other team were not that great,

Rafa:
Diaby man of the match.
Good for Diaby, but it could be also Cazorla, he was good in possession and scored the second goal.

Terrible stuff. We cannot give the ball away easily in the oppositions final third with our full backs pushing so far up the field and the center backs so far apart. Yet we did this time and time again. Gerrard and Suarez being the worst culprits with Enrique joining in later on.
Shelvey deserved to start after last weeks performance, preferably ahead of Shain who looked a little unfit to me. However, this was one of Gerrards worst performances I have ever seen. He is the antithesis of the way Rodgers wants us to play, always trying to play the killer ball when we should just keep it simple. Even the fans were getting a bit annoyed (albeit at 2 nil down) when we were keeping the ball and moving it side to side and backwards instead of going for the killer ball. We all need to be much more patient with this sytem, fans and layers alike. ( watch swansea last week for examples of this, two of their goals lead from passing sideways, backwards, forward. back again and again until finally found some space and scored).

I don't know aht goes through Suarez head soemtimes (not a lot I'm guessing) but trying a lob there towards the end was madness, just put your boot through that one, keeping it low and you will score more often than not.

At the moment we look like conceding a lot and not scoring at all. It is dark times ahead until the players get used to this system. If I were offered 8th place right now I would honestly take it as I think that is as high as we can go this year and that it should be the realistic target.

Joe Allen is great though!

He wasn't screwed. He was standing on the tracks about to get hit and dismembered by a freight train called "Clint Dempsey is shit". And then Ian Ayre decided to be a hero, shoved Rodgers out the way, and took the impact leaving only a bloodied Ben Sherman shirt hanging off the front of the train. That's the reality of it. He wasn't screwed, he's been saved from his own stupidity and has a second chance at life.

Grotesque to see Davey Fairclough grinning like a loon on TV after that. He was forever sticking the knife in last season, along with his similarly bitter son on twitter.

suso30fernandez@suso30fernandez

To all who ask. Siguo punished .. I can not play. Cazorla spectacular player go qe arsenal has been speechless ..
I assumed the awfully translated 'punished' part refers to suspension?
