Rodgers is as much to blame for the Carroll debacle as anyone:
1. If you know you can't sell someone unless you have a replacement, why do you keep treating him like shit and letting the whole world know he's not in your plans?
2. If we knew we needed a replacement senior CF badly, why did we spend our free budget on Borini? We should have gone for the CF, and then get Borini after Carroll was sold?
3. It seems like we didn't have a plan B for when Dempsey chose Spurs
It's not easy for a manager to make decisions like this but if we had a DOF, this debacle wouldn't have happened.

That would depend on who the DOF was, wouldn't it? Our last DOF oversaw some of the worst transfers in our history.
I thought Reina was unlucky - to be fair it was likely to be a goal from that position.

Rodgers went for Dempsey. It is a fucking god-send that we missed out on adding this over-the-hill turd to our payroll. How in the fuck you can have sympathy for the manager is beyond me. We would have been better with Osama or Pacheco on the bench instead of Dempsey. But just to make a point, Rodgers acted like a dick and picked a totally stupid bench. That was in fact rafa-esque in how petty his selection was today.

That will hopefully happen. I'd let Borini be a back up striker until january, and hope that Assiadi can be a surprise on the right wing. If Lucas hadnt gotten injured I think Gerrard would have been pushed further up the pitch aswell.

yes she does - very good. But I cannot help thinking that both Suarez and SG were poor today because they were tired after playing midweek and therefore were a little careless with their passing. We maybe being a little too harsh on them sometimes but I really do believe that SG needs to move to the right of the front three, and Shelvy should always start.
So you think Stevie is tired playing in cm so should move into a more demanding position?
