Liverpool 'Better without Suarez'

He's footballs version of Rudy Gay or Josh Smith.

A good player who makes every team he plays for worse.

Lol.

Absurd comparisons. Neither Gay or Smith are particularly talented. Josh Smith is an athletic freak who rebounds well and plays good defense. He's mostly a chucker on offense, but can be a high-level role player in the right team, like was at the Hawks. The only reasons teams have been anxious to get rid of him is his bad contract. Gay on the other hand is a high-usage chucker who doesn't play a lick of defense. His talent level is above-average, but he's hardly anything special.

Whatever you say about Suarez, his talent level is off the charts as is his work ethic. If you want to make a comparison with a talented player who has little winning impact, I'd suggest Carmelo - who like Suarez is a a top 5 talent.

I wouldn't agree anyway.

Having just read that I realize I don't understand a word but I like the phrase "high-usage chucker".

I love Suarez - He's the only ex red I've actually been arsed watching play in opposing colours. Sensational player and probably the best to ever play for the redmen. Privileged to have seen him play from the Kop. Really looking forward to his next mental lapse though.

Suarez now, over 24 games either gets a goal or an assist in every match. He tore Grenada a new one today too.
