No point if we don't have a clinical finisher. Same goes for Sterling. We need someone who scores goals.

How I would love to have at least another player of his quality in our side.
He's surrounded by 4 ordinary players in the final third. What the hell has happened to us? Over the years, no matter how shite we might have been, we could always have pride in that fact that many of our attackers were world-class. We only have one player that can be classed as one now.
We need 4 more Suarez's.
We don't need a Darren feckin Bent.
I think a major problem is there are too many players who are reluctant to drive into the area when they have the ball so the attacks are far slower than they need to be. we need more players who can beat a man. todays game was tailor made for raheem.
There's no 'or' about it. We need finshers.

I don't agree Macca. We need 2-3 attacking players. One has to be a finisher. The others need to be similar players - creativity wise and movement wise - as Suarez.
You probably underrate him more than any other supporter, too.
I have to admit he is a bit of a headless chicken at times, he gets into absolutely brilliant positions and then fucks up the brilliant work by failing to pick up our players who are queuing up for the pass.

How many chances would a 'finisher' have had today if Suarez wasn't playing? 1? 2?
Does a chance fall to a 'finisher' every single time? Or does it get spread out amongst all the players, particularly the 2 or 3 forwards, plus the midfielders?
If it's the latter, then would you suggest we buy 5 Darren Bents to fill all the attacking spots?
How do we break down teams that park the bus? I mean REALLY break them down. Not rebounds or half chances from outside the box. Not passing sideways and backwards around the area while giving teams some time to rest.
We need more Suarez's, not Darren Bents.
