Is he better than Gerrard now?
A couple of years ago I would have laughed.....no scoffed at the suggestion, but what has Gerrard got that Lampard doesn't have x 100000 now?
Watching him LEAD his team today was very impressive, pretty much as he has been all season.
Put it this way, I hope Lampard gets the lead role in South Africa.

Lampard's been fantastic for the last 6 seasons or so. An incredible amount of goals scored, three title and simply remarkable consistency

He's had a much better season than Gerrard, that much is obvious, but he's always played in a better team, with better players and Gerrard's struggled with form and injuries and playing with cunts this season

Gerrard's a better player at his best.

Easily.
 
He's got a better team around him, Gerrard would excel there, I would excel there.

As far as leadership, that has never been one of Stevie's strong points, but he is a much better player than fat body.
 
Isn't this a bit OTT, Oncy? Wigan were (a) poor and (b) reduced to ten men long before the end of the game. Lampard's a very good player and has unquestionably been in better form than Stevie this season, but that doesn't make him "better than Gerrard". Red bias notwithstanding, I'd still prefer an in-form Stevie all day long.
